CLAN RULES: The Rules

Here are our Rules for Clan No Name.

We try not to get too strict on our rules but some are necessary to maintain order and reach the desired level of competitiveness.  Clan No Name policies are as follows:

Scrims & Matches

[Teams] <CNN> is organized into Alpha Team (A Team) and Beta Team (B Team). To qualify for admittance to Alpha Team a member must have the approval of a clan CEO. Traits considered for Alpha Team members are skill level (mainly), consistency, and activity level within clan. Notice: not being admitted to Alpha Team does NOT mean you suck. Alpha Team is simply a very exclusive group of our best.

[Recording]  Scrims consisting of only Alpha Team members will be considered Alpha Team scrims & will be recorded on Alpha Team records. Any scrim including a Beta Team member will be recorded on the Beta Team records. A cumulative CNN scrim record will be kept by combining Alpha and Beta Team's records.
*attention* Any scrim with ringers will not be recorded officially as ringers do not truely represent either clan in the scrim.

[Reporting]All scrim results must be reported to the C.E.O. within 24 hours via private message on the forums. http://www.box.net/shared/q0v17xeis7 is the file containing the correct format to report a scrim. Yes, the individual responsible for reporting the scrim must upload the images and provide a hotlink AND a direct link. EVERYBODY INVOLVED IN A SCRIM IN WHICH THE RECORD DOES NOT GET REPORTED WILL FACE DISCIPLINARY ACTION AND POSSIBLY DEMOTION! So make sure you choose a responsible individual to report it. A scrim record report will not be considered full without all required information.

[Sportsmanship]  No trash talking opponents in scrims, be the better man.  No accusing of hacking.

[Teamspeak Conduct]  No excess chatter in teamspeak channel while scrimming.  Only individuals participating in scrim allowed in channel.  Server Admin reserves rights to ban any user violating these terms for the remainder of the scrim.

Organization

Clan No Name has a very simple ranking structure. All ranks fall into two categories, High Command and the Troops. High Command consists of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), General Executive Officer (GEO), and Major. The Troops consist of Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant, and Private.

Explanation of Ranks:

[High Command] Members in High Command possess executive powers in clan decisions and organization.

CEO-
Full admin powers. Works alongside GEO to maintain and organize clan operations. Has final say on major clan decisions.

GEO-
Full admin powers. Works alongside CEO to maintain and organize clan operations. Has final say on most matters. Works with CEO to resolve major situations/decisions.

Major-
Semi-admin powers. Works underneath CEO and GEO as an assistant administrator. Has authorative power in clan but not a final say on clan decisions or discipline.

[The Troops] Members in the Troops dont have executive power. These ranks are based on 4 things: (1)how respected they are within the clan (2) How involved/active they are in the clan (3) How good their leadership and social skills are & (4) their skill level. These criteria are NOT mutually exclusive. (Ex. If Member Z is active and involved but nobody likes him or he doesnt have good social skills he may be denied promotion for those reasons.)

Captain-
Highest seniority

Lieutenant-
Moderate seniority

Sergeant-
Least seniority

Private-
No seniority

Attitude

The admin of this clan are fair, lenient, and personable individuals. In return for our laid-back style of rule we ask that members and guests conduct themselves in a mature manner. A common misconception is that "immature" is defined as "not starting fights with other people" or something of that nature. However, we define "immature" simply as "one who recklessly interacts with others without regard to emotional consequence or disturbance."

This policy includes but is not limited to:
A) Treating others in an appropriate manner.
B) Handling the situation responsibly if another verbally attacks you.
C) Reporting any individuals who are repeated offenders of this policy.

Individuals whom do not respect this policy will be dealt with on an individual basis. Disciplinary action may include warnings, probationary periods, and if necessary....expulsion from <CNN>.

When an individual verbally attacks you, you may ask him/her to be quiet and leave you alone. If you MUST argue, take the conversation to a private place because nobody else wants to hear it.

Hacking

Clan No Name has a zero-tolerance policy in place for hacking. Upon receiving proof of an individual hacking that uses <CNN> facilities (forums, xfire page, etc) in any way will be banned immediately from using such facilities and will not be allowed to take part in any <CNN> exclusive games from that point forth.
